‘Dragonball Super: Superhero’ Review

If you are a nerd, if you like anime, if you didn’t grow up watching Naruto or One piece, you grew up watching Dragon ball and Dragon-ball Z.

Dragon ball super: superhero is the newest feature length Dragon ball adventure to hit the cinema.  So what adventures are Goku and Vegeta up to? They aren’t! Goku and Vegeta are part of a teeny tiny subplot involving training, this film is about Piccolo and Gohan, why? Presumable because they’ve become absolutely useless lately, so how is it?

Super:Superhero is animated with 3-D CGI models which hasn’t been done previously in the series, excepting games, and it looks…okay…it takes some getting used to but it isn’t too off putting in the end.

The return of Cell in a new ultra-powered form prompts Piccolo and Gohan to return to the fight properly which means they need to unlock new forms. Dubbed Orange Piccolo and Beast Gohan the new forms meet the standard requirements, they are visually different and supposedly pack more punch. In the end Gohan finishes the fight within about 2 minutes of the runtime.

If you love Dragon ball you will definitely enjoy this film, if you aren’t a fan of the show, why are you even considering seeing it?
